Who can Volunteer?

• Graduate students in the areas of counseling, social work, or other mental health related fields

How Volunteering to Work at an AAPT Conference can Benefit You:

• Provides an opportunity to attend the conference for free
• Provides an opportunity to learn more about play therapy
• Provides an opportunity to meet the nationally known conference speaker
• Provides the student with a valuable experience in the behind the scene planning of a play therapy conference
• Provides an opportunity to work with the AAPT board
• Provides an opportunity to give back to the Alabama Association for Play Therapy

What is required of You?

Assist the conference committee with preparations the night before the conference for usually 3-4 hours
Assist periodically before, during, and after the conference

Applications for AAPT conferences must be submitted one (1) month prior to the early registration deadline.
