It’s Not Easy Going Green But Click Here For More Info!

AAPT is working to become more efficient and less wasteful as we prepare and carry out workshops and we appreciate our members and friends working with us to help that happen. Part of our Going Green effort is using technology as much as possible to replace the use of paper through mailouts and brochures.  However, this means we need your help to stay connected so that you are always aware of what’s going on with AAPT.

A new way we are using technology is through Facebook.  If you are interested in signing up to “be a fan” on our facebook page then you can click the link on our homepage or just click Alabama Association for Play Therapy on Facebook. You may set your personal facebook page privacy settings so that no one will have access to your information but you can stay informed of the happenings at AAPT by becoming a fan on Facebook. Look us up yourself under Alabama Association for Play Therapy.

We will continue to post a blog that will also keep you informed of upcoming events and local training opportunities we are in the process of planning.  If you know colleagues who are not signed up for the blog please encourage them to to so and let them know about us on Facebook.

We will use post cards as reminders of workshop like we did for Danny Yeager. It can help us stay connected to you if you make sure your licensing board has your current mailing address.  Brochures will still be available for downloading on the website but it is more econimcal and more “green” to use the post cards and that is something we plan to continue.

Just a reminder that Paris Goodyear Brown will be our next workshop presenter and the date is April 30, 2010. Stay tuned for more information coming soon.

Have a playful day!
