Medical Play Therapy Class Click Here!

HD 591 Special Topics: Medical Play Therapy

 

Originally designed for Child Life students, this class is open to any graduate student meeting prerequisites and any other existing requirements set by the University. According to APT (Association for Play Therapy) successful completion can count toward partial fulfillment of course hours toward registered play therapist.

Class meeting times are weekend format:

1.  Friday January 15th 5:30pm-8:30pm and Saturday January 16th 9:00am-5:00pm

2.  Friday February 5th 5:30-8:30 and Saturday February 6th 9:00am-5:00pm

3.  Friday March 5th 5:30-8:30 and Saturday March 6th 9:00am-5:00pm

4.  Friday April 9th 5:30-8:30 and Saturday April 19th 9:00-5:00

 

Debra Atchison, Ed.D. teaches the class. She’s a registered play therapist supervisor, LPC, LMFT located in Birmingham.
