AAPT has two workshops coming up and registration is open for both.  One will be held in Hartselle AL on November 6th and is entitled ”Step Families and Play Therapy: An Overview of Play and How it Relates to Step Families”. To register, download the brochure or get more information click HERE. In January 2010 we will hold our annual Winter Workshop withDaniel Yeager entitled “Play Therapy Techniques for Skill Building in Children with ADHD.” A mail out is coming soon but you can download the brochure, get more information and even register now by clicking HERE. If you or someone you know needs great practical ideas for working with ADHD children this workshop is for you.

We are also in the final stages of organizing an Ethics Workshop in Montgomery on December 4th. This workshop plus an additional one coming in the spring will help meet the six contact hours of ethics training required for LPCs. This workshop is not yet posted on the website but should be within the next two weeks. A notice will go out at that time.
