In March of 2008 — exactly one year ago today – in an effort to better serve our members and all mental health professionals working with children, the website for the Alabama Association for Play Therapy (AAPT) was redesigned.

As of this blog post, we have had 2,765 unique visitors to our web site with over 7,000 page views!

We have had visitors from every state in the union – and countries such as Australia, the UK, Canada, even Uganda!

In honor of our one year anniversary we’ve updated with new features — here are just a few:

  • Check out the photos from our Winter Workshop with Sueann Noziska on the homepage
  • Use the search box on the homepage (upper right corner under jumping children) to quickly locate information on the website — for example, looking for grant information? Keyin “grant” (without the “) and select Search. Want to find every reference to our AAPT President? Keyin “president” (without the “) and select Search
  • Browse the “Site Map” for a quick overview of all of our web pages and their organization
  • Visit our “Training Videos” arcive
  • Read the Winter Newsletter
  • Find out what upcoming events are going on with the Calendar of Events
  • And see what else you can find that has been added to the site

Most importantly, find out about our Spring Workshop with Lawrence Rubin and register online now!  Please let us know if you have any features you would like to suggest for our website to help it serve you better.

Happy Spring! Get out there and Play!
