Happy New Year from AAPT!

With a new year about to begin, we hope you are taking time for some much needed self care and have plans to continue that throughout the year.  For all you do on behalf of children we would like to say thank you.  We’d also like to ask that you help us serve you better.  Over the coming weeks we will be asking for your input through surveys and blog postings and we look forward to your input.

However, you can always send comments and suggestions through the blog or by the email addresses posted under the Board of Directors area of the website.  We need your input to make this organization work for you.  We hope to see you in January at the conference and we wish you a wonderful 2009!

Best Wishes for the New Year!

Deadlines Are Approaching

Just a reminder that if you or someone you know is a student who would like to volunteer for the January 30th workshop the application is online in our Training area, but the deadline for applications is December 30th.  If you are not a student but know someone who would be interested please pass this opportunity along to them.

In addition, please note the early registration discount for the January 30th conference with Sueann Noziska ends January 16th.  Online registration through paypal is now available.  All the information you need about the workshop is available on our website.  If you like a workshop to provide you with new techniques, this is definitely the workshop for you.

What did people have to say about our Spring Workshop?

  • There was so much specific information.  It was one of the best conferences on all levels that I’ve attended.
  • Liana was a joy to listen to.  Very organized and clear and efficient. I will use this daily in private practice.
  • Thank you.  This information will be very helpful to my profession. Very relevant, very current, and very clear.  I would come to another conference.  Thank you for all your hard work I presenting this material.
  •  Excellent ideas for school groups as well as my work with children at a grief center.
  •  Thank you, excellent opportunity for training by and excellent presenter and knowledge therapist.

We hope you will take advantage of this technique based workshop coming up and join us in Birmingham on January 30, 2008.
